World Chat Wednesday: Trends in Trinidad and Tobago

Join us at MIC to learn about Trends in Trinidad/Tobago. Brent Bidjou, an attorney who has established a legal practice to introduce Minnesota companies to opportunities for trade and economic development in his native Trinidad/Tobago and elsewhere in the Caribbean, will present. He is also a member of the MIC board of directors.

World Voices: Peace on Earth Concert
December 14, 2002

The World Voices Chorale of the Twin Cities invites you to join them for their third-annual performance of "World Voices: Peace on Earth" on Saturday, December 14. The chorale will collaborate with several children's choirs to sing in more than ten languages. The choirs consist of approximately 350 children representing various cultures, including African, Hispanic, Native American, Chinese, Somali, Hmong, Russian and Western European. Founded in 1996, World Voices is a distinguished Twin Cities chorale whose mission is to celebrate global cultures through choral music.

MIC is a cosponsor of this performance. Tickets for "Peace on Earth" will be available in November through World Voices, 952-947-0162 or www.worldvoicesmn.org

Great Decisions: Aids in Africa

Come to MIC and learn about current foreign policy issues. Great Decisions is a national program of discussion groups, coordinated locally by MIC. New participants are always welcome. December's subject is Aids in Africa - speaker to be confirmed. This group meets the third Wednesday of each month.
