Great Decisions: Nigeria

Come to MIC to learn and discuss current foreign policy issues in a small-group setting. February's topic is Nigeria, Africa's most populous country. Thompson Aye Goody Ivory, principal partner in his law firm in Nigeria, will speak about the many challenges facing Nigeria's emerging democracy. Mr. Ivory, a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, is studying human rights as a participant in this year's Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota.

Great Decisions is sponsored nationally by the Foreign Policy Association and coordinated in Minnesota by MIC. New participants are welcome to attend this group, which meets at MIC on the third Wednesday of each month.

        (Please register in advance - MIC's living room only seats 25 people. )
