World Quest: An Evening of International Facts and Fun
February 28, 2003

How many time zones does China have and how many provinces? Which country was the first to give women the right to vote in 1893? Which country has the longest uninterrupted "Treaty of Peace and Friendship" with the United States? Who appeared on the first cover of Rolling Stone magazine in 1967? Which language nearly became the official one of the new United States of America? If you know the answers to these questions you are either very knowledgeable about the world or you attended MIC's World Quest last year!

On Friday, February 28, MIC will host its second annual World Quest with an entirely new set of questions! Assemble your team now for the ultimate international trivia competition in the Twin Cities -- World Quest -- and test your knowledge of world affairs. Sign up your family, friends or co-workers in teams of eight to compete for fun and prizes. Each team answers questions in 5-6 categories, including flags of the world, people in the news, history and geography, places in the world and current events. MIC will organize teams for people without one. A great way to meet new people!

Remember to study those flags, watch the news and brush up on your geography!
