Whether selling directly or through a distributor, your sales efforts in Japan are more effective and well received when marking materials are tailored with Japanese customers in mind. The language and design of everthing from advertisements, promotional literature to websites has great bearing on how distributors and consumers respond to your company and products.
MIC, the Minnesota Trade Office and the Japan America Society of Minneosta (JASM) invite you to this seminar at which a panel of speakers will outline the factors to consider when preparing marketing materials for Japan. A question-and-answer period will follow presentations, and a half-hour networking opportunity is provided after the formal program.
Panel Members:
*Micah Bly is an expert on web site and software localization. Since 1995, he has been developing multilingual web sites for local and international companies to deliver content in English, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and numerous other European and Asian languages.
*Geoff Klaverkamp is an account manager for advertising agency Russell & Herder. Geoff worked as a news correspondent in Japan and Southeast Asia for eight years and currently helps develop strategies and solutions for international firms in the United States and for clients marketing and advertising in Japan and Asia.
