Year of China Event - China's New Leadership: China's Perspectives on U.S.-China Relations

MIC, the China Center and the U.S.-China People's Friendship Association invite you to hear Professor Jiang Zhenghua, vice-chairman of the National People's Congress of China, on Wednesday, April 2, as he discusses China's new leadership.

Professor Jiang recently participated in the 10th National People's Congress where Vice President Hu Jintao was named the president. In addition to his current position as vice-chairman, Professor Jiang has worked in a variety of positions including chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party and deputy minister of the Family Planning Commission of China.
