Connecting the Dots: Weaving Human Rights into Curriculum

Exploring Human Rights Issues in Past, Present and Future: For Social Studies/Civics/History Classes

Offered by the Minnesota Global, Peace and Human Rights Education Network, these courses address and teach about international and local issues that affect a multicultural school environment. Participants should have some knowledge of human rights or have participated in the Bridging Classroom, Curriculum, and Community series last year. This year will focus on strategies to connect human rights, peace and global education to learning standards.
