Internship Opportunities

MIC is continually recruiting qualified individuals to assist us in our day-to-day operations. Our unpaid intern positions provide a unique opportunity to obtain practical experience while learning about the local international community and gaining insight into international nonprofit organizations.

We have semester and summer internships available in the following areas:

Interns volunteer 10 hours per week, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Internships are available Spring semester (January - May), Summer (June-August) and Fall semester (September - December).

If you are interested in learning more about what internship opportunities are available now, please contact us via mail or e-mail. Interns will be asked to fax or mail a resume as well as a letter of interest, and submit the short application form. Upon receiving your information, MIC will contact you to arrange an interview.

What our interns say...

"I have looked forward to coming to work everyday this summer. It's exciting to know I've helped coordinate international connections and helped to make visitors' stays here more meaningful."

"I had a great experience at MIC, my supervisor and program director were both very pleasant to work with. I have gained much knowledge and understanding of the world around me."

"I loved working on many projects under different people for it not only kept me interested, but gave me a sense of confidence. It was great to be given important jobs and know that others believed that I could accomplish them."

"I always felt appreciated! I'd much rather not be paid and exchange that for working with such a wonderful and supportive staff."
