Background: The Minnesota International Center is a non-profit community organization that promotes international exchange and understanding between Minnesotans and the world. Administration is responsible for supporting the Board of Directors, the Executive Director, and program staff. The department is also responsible for a smooth-running office; customer service; facility, technology management and communications.

To assist the Administration in the following areas:
  1. Administrative Support - provide assistance to the administrative team with human resources, public relations, intern and basic information mailings, correspondence, data entry, postings, faxing, updating MIC 's webpage, and internal and external customer service. Assist the Administrative Director on various projects.
  2. Board of Directors Support - assist in board correspondence and record keeping. You may attend board and committee meetings to observe how a non-profit is managed.
  3. Office management: assist with greeting guests and parking, prepare office for meetings and maintain the organizational calendar.

Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to details. Ability to work on several projects simultaneously. Ability and interest in interacting with the public. Interest or coursework in business administration, non-profit management and human resources.
